When they changed the drinking age from 18 to 19 in Saskatchewan (ever so
many years ago) they did allow people who were 18 before a certain date
continue drinking.  I'm not sure how they decided on the date; it may have
been when the legislation came into effect.

I remember the incident because my brother missed the cutoff date by about2
weeks.  He wasn't impressed.
