[This paper is sold by Ahearn & Soper, and is standardly dis- tributed with some imagen printers] Although we have a brand-new drum, and everything is in excellent operational order, quite a few sheets come out with "blotches", areas not properly printed, or "white spots", where ink did not stay on the paper at all. It seems that this canon paper is not properly and evenly burnished on the printing surface (only one side is recommended for "best" copy) and hence, I am looking for another brand of paper with higher quality, and also suitable for Imagen wet-process laser printers. Somebody did recommend Monaco Offset Enamel (70 weight) for these printers, but Barber Ellis (the paper-folks) no longer carry 70 weight, and 80 weight paper is simply too thick, and causes paper jams. If you are running an imagen wet-process laser printer (10/300 or 5/480) and had good results with a different paper, please, please let me know. thnx... oz -- The best way to have a Usenet: [decvax|ihnp4]!utzoo!yetti!oz good idea is to have a Bitnet: oz@[yusol|yuyetti].BITNET lot of ideas.
