Moli Energy is an R+D company investigating Rechargeable Lithium Battery Systems. It is presently opening a large production facility and the drain of people to the production plant has left the following openings. 1) Job Description : Systems Administrator / Programmer Reports to the Electronic Project Leader, Research and Development. Required to perform various administrative functions; system startup, system configuration, and system maintenance. Also required to write system software, which could be graphics, data manipulation or controlling programs. System maintenance to include; doing routine system backups, archiving and retrieving data files, file management, setting up user I.D.'s, maintaining a data base, and system configuration for i/o devices. Ordering of supplies used to maintain the system. Performing checks to make sure the system is functioning properly and arranging for service when necessary. Necessary Skills : Computer Science diploma at a recognized institution or equivalent experience. Must be proficient in C and completely familiar with Unix operating systems. Having worked on an HP 9000 system with HPUX (SYS5 Rel2.2) or with Empress 32 data base considered assets. 2) Job Description : Data Technician Technical duties involving aquiring and documenting cell performance data in response to the requirements of the R+D departments. Required to operate processor controlled cycling apparatus. Must maintain a data library and duplicate records for off site storage. Necessary Skills : The person should have computer experience.
