As a devout Big-endian, I can at least appreciate the other fellow's point of view. This little missive should be required reading for all computer architecture classes everywhere, lest any think all this magic of computers was well concieved from the beginning. When it comes down to it, I just don't like the way little-endians memory dumps print out.
