Lines: 15 Xref: mnetor comp.dcom.lans:9 misc.wanted:212 Does anyone make a "Null Ethernet Tap" similar in purpose to a null modem for RS232? That is, a little box that connects the 802.3 ports of two machines together, powered by tap current, and SMALL? Obviously, such a beasty would be complicated by collision detection and such, and couldn't be passive, but it should be possible to do something much smaller/cheaper than a DELNI for this limited purpose. Any suggestions? Should I design one (Two Intel 82502s, 6 toroid transformers, 2 voltage regulators, misc parts)?
