I find references that tell what the slot time is for and how long it is but none that indicate when it should start. I want to know if the slot time starts before, during, or after the preamble. I'd like a hard reference to the Green Book on this point. Lacking that, I need references to other printed material such as the original DEC - Intel - Xerox specifications.
