Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 18 Keywords: smalltalk user interface Is there any hard and fast definition on the behavior of windows within ST-80. By this, I mean who counts on the behavior, e.g., the refreshing of uncovered windows? Following this tangent, what standard definition of windows, window controls, icons, menus etc.. exist? I understand tradition and convention, but how much latitude is there in implementation of these (and related user interface) functions. Following on, is there anything future implementaions of a Smalltalk user interace can learn from all of the adaptations of its user interface (Mac/Amiga/Gem/etc...)? (international?)
