In other words if I use this program as a filter between me and another program I'm running, it would keep an image of what my screen looks like in the two-dimensional array. (On a microcomputer I can just read the screen memory-map to get the screen image, but on an unix system the memory-map is in the terminal which I cannot read from a program). Ideally it would read my termcap entry and emulate that particular kind of terminal, but if it just emulate a fix kind of terminal that's fine also. Long ago I've heard about a game-playing game called rogue-amatic, I suspect this program might have such an emulator built in (in order to figure out what is where). Does anyone know where I can find the source for this? peter ------------------------------------------------------------------------ uucp: {akgua|allegra|harvard|ihnp4|seismo|topaz|ucbvax}!uwvax!uwmacc!pwu arpa: pwu@unix.macc.wisc.edu bitnet: WU at WISVMACC -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ uucp: {akgua|allegra|harvard|ihnp4|seismo|topaz|ucbvax}!uwvax!uwmacc!pwu arpa: pwu@unix.macc.wisc.edu bitnet: WU at WISVMACC
