One of my larger complaints is the lack of environment variables. On one of the fish disks (and posted to the net a while ago) is my environment variable `set' command which constructs a resident environment variable library; these are easily accessed from C. If anyone doesn't have a copy, let me know and I'll send it to you. I wish I had the power to set a standard . . . -tom
