TDS, the local Amiga dealer in Durham NC., has begun taking orders 
for the Amiga 1.2 enhancement kit. The price is $14.95. The delivery
date is "sometime in the next two weeks".
TDS received the announcement in the middle of the week.
The contents will include: (from memory)
 - kikstart 1.2
 - workbench 1.2
 - a utilities disk
 - 40 ! pages of documentation 8-)
 - an updated BASIC
In addition the announcement made mention of a some of the changes
and enhancements inside DOS 1.2. The annoncement was not very detailed.
This announcement was on what looked like a mimeographed copy of
a typed sheet. It was possibly prepared by the Amiga distributer
for this part of the country, rather than directly from Commodore.
I presume this is the official announcement of availability for 
version 1.2 of the AMIGA operating system.
