It's not AppleWorks that doesn't recognize the clock, it's your IIe/IIc version of PRODOS 1.1.1 that doesn't know about the GS's special clock. See your dealer about getting PRODOS 1.2 (which is being called "ProDOS 8" since it is the 8-bit version of ProDOS). I don't think there's any cost involved. There shouldn't be. --Morgan
