I know that Apple will upgrade the //c mother board free of charge, *if* you buy a Unidisk 3.5 from *them*. But I got hasseled by quite of few stores when I said I was buying it second hand. Although I did find an honest place that would do it for me (free), all other places said `sorry' but it'll co$t you. :-( My question is: Can they do that ?? Sencondly, is there any way to boot "nicely" from the Unidisk ?? I am most certainly interested in booting Appleworks from the 3.5 Anyway, it cost me $200 for the 3.5, looks about 2 months old. Is that good?? ...the lowest price I found for a new one was $300 + tax +... Thanks in advance, Lenny. ugbinns@sunybcs acscljb@sunyabvc
