Regarding the ROM patch, I thought it was necessary to invert a line in order
to use an EPROM where a ROM used to be.  It's been a long time since I've
checked on this, though, so I could well be wrong.  Would anyone care to dis-
pell any thoughts I and others may have regarding this?  Is it possible to
simply plug in, say, a 27C256 into the ST and have it work?  Also, what kind
of access time is necessary?  I ordered 200ns parts, but maybe 250ns parts
could be used which are cheaper?
