Has anyone out on the net hooked up an HP plotter to an ST via the RS232 port?
I have tried without success. The two instruments are communicating but there
is a handshaking problem. I set up both the computer and the plotter for XON/XOFF handshaking but the plotters buffer would still over run and shortly after the plot started the drawing became a mess. I then tried hardwire handshaking but
the HP plotter (7470) uses DSR/DTR and the ST is missing the DSR line.

Is there something obvious that I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.
