The Graphic Artist is an easy to uae CAD package. It includes spreadsheets
piecharts and barcharts.  In terms of drawings I would say it is fast and
and flexible.  It can access A-D size plotters as well as dot matrix and 
laser printers.(There is some diddling around needed by the user to make
the plotter drivers do B,C and D size but it can be done).
     The product has no dimensioning functions and plot scale is not
     exact without some experimentation.

     The price has been dropping lately and they have separated out the font
     editor which is fun for user defined symbols.  

     It can scale and rotate as well as having symbol pattern retrieval.
