It seems to work well, and it copies some software that the software copy programs, such as COPYIIPC will NOT copy. It makes fast backups and I do all my copying with it, even if it is just a data disk. It also verifies as it copies. I have used one in a IBM PC and an IBM Portable. They have a new half-sized card that will work in a variety of different computers. I think the main difference is some of the IBM-clones use a different disk drive cable (without the twist) and thus have slightly different drive selects. joel sampson smu computer science & engineering
