Check and see which Rom version your controller is: F019 or F022. The F022 is an autoconfig chip that "MIGHT" have problems at high speed and or with a non-ibm system. I was told that by my distributor when putting the controllers and Seagates into Zenith 158s with their dual speed 8088-2 chips. We also had the consideration of possibly networking and stories that there might be problems because of that. Sorry I don't have concrete ideas for you. Bob cole@iubacs (bitnet) access@iuvax (uucp)
