Evidently when the Kermit people decided to keep the SCC in 8-bit mode all the time, they missed one place where an "and" with 0177 should have been added. This is in the test for "end of packet" character. If your host sends EVEN parity AND Linefeeds with its carriage returns, you can change "end of packet" from Carriage Return (13) to Linefeed (10) which has the correct parity not to have the parity bit set. I tried setting "end of packet" to 0215 but Kermit is too smart for that. -- umd5.UUCP <= {seismo!umcp-cs,ihnp4!rlgvax}!cvl!umd5!zben Ben Cranston zben @ umd2.UMD.EDU Kingdom of Merryland Sperrows 1100/92 umd2.BITNET "via HASP with RSCS"
