I told it to convert an application to an upload. I expected the kind of binhexed file I have seen posted to the net, containing only printing characters and lines less than 80 characters long. What I got was a file with type TEXT and creator BnHq, containing garbage characters, which I assume is MacBinary format. How do I create an hqx file that I can post? I thought that this was one of the purposes of BinHex. Do I have to find a copy of BinHex 4.0 to do this? I assumed that 5.0 was upward compatible with 4.0. -- Barry Margolin ARPA: barmar@MIT-Multics UUCP: ..!genrad!mit-eddie!barmar
