Comp.sources.mac is NOT a valid newsgroup at this time. If you look at the "checkgroups" message that is sent out with a list of all the valid newsgroups, you will find that very few comp.sources groups are there. Why, you might ask? Because comp.sources.mac is destined to be moderated, and integrating the mod groups into all of the rest of the groups is the last step in the newsgroup reorganization that has taken place over the past several months. So, until comp.sources.mac is officially created, I would suggest sending your postings to mod.mac.{binaries,sources}. If your news software is properly installed, you should be able to just post to mod.mac.binaries, and the news software will do the rest. If that doesn't work, mail them to felix!macintosh.
