I would like to create my own font, and I have tried using ResEdit 1.0
to both edit an existing font and to create a new font, and a program
called Font Editor v2.0 (No about box or other identification, seems
kind of buggy - could be that I just don't know what I am doing - it
does not seem to have the ability to create a font file) I have had
very little luck (I read somewhere that ResEdit's font editor may itself
be buggy - this seems true as I was able to introduce a horrible, recurring
crash by mucking about in a stand alone font file (not the system file).

Any pointers to hopefully PD tools which aid in font creation would be
appreciated, along with any tips for using the tools I mentioned.

(My system: Mac+, DF20 HD, System 3.2, Finder 5.3, ResEdit 1.0)
