Hellow netland, I have about $1500 to spend on a new computer.  This
Apple ][+ is old and dying, so I need a new computer.  I consider the
following things a necessity.

o At least 512k RAM -- should go to more
o At least 80 col. text (you can tell I had an Apple)
o At least 750k drive storage (no floppy shuffle)
o Serial/Parallel
o Needs to run Vt100 terminal emulator that works!
o Needs good word processor
o Needs to run C compiler

Of course, the following would sure be nice:
o Hard Disks (20M)
o Xenix
o Multitasking
o A good CPU
o Color & Sound

Mice are NOT necessary -- I don't like mice.


Please mail me any suggestions?  I know about IBM clones, but which
one?  I've done alot of work on Macs, but the hardware can be lacking.
