I was wondering if anyone could help me... I recently won a Series 3200 Designer Kit (at the ACM programming contest). It consists of the following: NS32016 -- the CPU (NMOS), NS32082 -- Memory Management Unit, NS32081 -- Floating Point Unit, NS32201 -- Timing Control Unit, NS32202 -- Interrupt Control Unit, a 2-chip TDS (Tiny Develepment System) ROM, and a slew of manuals. I am *NOT* too knowledgeable about hardware... but I do know that before I can do anything with it, I'll need some sort of motherboard! In the literature, there is a lot of talk about GENIX (National Semiconducter's port of UN*X), and I would love to see those 7 chips develop into a real minicomputer! Does anyone know a place to buy the appropriate boards for it, and/or how much they should cost? I know I would have to buy a lot of memory and a hard disk drive -- but how much for just the basic board (and how much for GENIX)? I appreciate any help I can get! Thank you!
