Some time ago, I answered a query regarding those annoying extra
carriage returns the TANDY 100 insists on placing in uploaded
text. I suggested that simply pressing RETURN ant the WIDTH?
prompt would send the file "as is" ( according to the manual ).

I got a reply that this did not work for the other individual.
Can anybody confirm that it does NOT work? Please dont clutter
the group with replies, I will post the results myself if you
send e-mail.

PS If anybody is interested, I can post a file transfer utility in 
   BASIC that works more conveniently than TELCOM.
