I remember using one attached to the Royal Precision Company's RPC-4000 back in the mid-60's at Purdue ( anyone remembers that machine? upper and lower accumulators, germanium transistors [ 2N404's, I think ], drum [ it's only store! ] and an oscilloscope as the register display. Ah, what bliss. ) The Flexowriter sure makes the ASR 33 look modern. But, I have always preferred it's paper tape punch to the junk on the Model 33.
