The usual wail into the dark...

Someone over in comp.sys.amiga rumored that someone else wrote a good
Pascal to C translator, and then translated TeX.  True?  Available? $$$?

In paticular, for the att6300+/SV and the Amiga.

BTW, a DVI driver in an Amiga or Atari ST seems like a reasonable choice
for a screen preview station for TeX that would not put any load on the
"mainframe", no?  Anybody making progress on that?
