Lines: 26 Keywords: Postscript, ImPRESS, converter Some time ago, I requested information about the availability of a Postscript to ImPRESS converter. In response to that posting, I received a few replies; they are summarized as follows: Several were from people seeking the same thing. One was from a person who said that Textset in Ann Arbor, MD had such a converter. A call to Textset by me yielded denials that Textset has such a thing. One was from a person at Adobe (makers of Postscript) saying that such a converter is impossible to develop essentially because Postscript has much greater functionality than ImPRESS, so a mapping from Postscript is impossible. I believe this. Those are all of the responses I got. Thanks to those who bothered to respond, and sorry I took so long to post this summary.
