It has been pointed out to me that news I post on UseNet is not
necessarily getting out to all of the Ridge users. I recently put
a note out announcing TeX for the Ridge. FYI, here is the content:

I have recently received a copy of the TeX typesetting package
from the Institute of Theoretical Physics that runs on the Ridge
under ROS. It was originally ported by Vadim Kaplunovsky, and
ITP added a device driver for the Apple LaserWriter.  It is 
available at no cost to anyone who would like it.  I will make
copies as time permits, providing the requestor first sends
me the media. (Note that the archived files are ~24 Mbytes!)
