	could this problem be more of the kind seen with GNU emacs
where there is no final lf as a delimiter in the last record???

	If so, I believe a quick zap can fix that.....

	you might want to check the archives for several messages from
Marty Sasaki et. al. about this same problem re: GNU emacs...
