We have a VAX/750(ULTRIX/VMS) host and a 68000 omnibyte board as our target machine. We have a established Real Time Multiprocessor Operating System(COSMOS) on the Target. We would like to have a comprehensive ADA Package that would allow development on the VAX , cleanly integrate with our OS(COSMOS) and produce downloadable code to run on the above mentioned target machine. The following issues are our main focus: *Is a Real-Time-Monitor(OS) needed on the target? *Can we Integrate it with in-house OS easily? How? *How much memory does the target need? *How do you do I/O on the target? *What are the Hardware dependent constraints? *Can I Randaevous between Multiple Processors? Any information related to these issues are welcome. A vendor list is also requested. Kindly reply to me directly at the following address: srini%NJIT-EIES.MAILNET@MIT-MULTICS.ARPA Thank you for your cooperation and help, srini. ******************* Srinivasan Krishnamurthy COMSAT LABS, NTD RM7142 22300 Comsat Drive Clarksburg, MD-20871 (301)-428-4531(W)
