Everytime I see Giro I think Gira.  I'm nothing, I'm noooobody.

Let's see, as for my recent shows (and since I haven't written in a while
this goes back a ways), there was Psychic TV (Aug. 1), Buttholes (Aug. 11),
Steel Pulse (from where I took a few MUNIs to get to the Farm to see the)
Adolescents, Iggy Pop (Halloween), Durutti Column (two weeks back,
Shiva Dancing opened, great band who've played my house a few times),

Recent record purchases pretty much IPR: Savage Republic, Kommunity FK,
Abecedarians 12".  Poness prevails.

Fela tonight at Berkeley Community, but I think I'll go see the Berkeley
opening of S 'n N.  Cox's new movie made shortly after looks pretty
interesting - $900,000 budget, starring Joe Strummer, Elvis C., and
the Pogues...  Spaghetti western parody.
