Just to throw my own two cents into the latest debate, I agree with Doug
that the new vocal does not improve Wuthering Heights.  When I heard that
there was a new remix of Wuthering Heights, I was hoping that she had
changed the arrangement, especially the (to my ears) bad guitar part.  Then
I finally heard it.  I was so disappointed and shocked to hear that she had
only changed the vocal part!

Oh well, I guess even goddesses aren't perfect.

p.s. to jon druckman, it sounds to me that you have never heard the
original version of wuthering heights, as you say "Definitely a step in the
right direction, even if it is a fairly mild pop song."  am i mistaken in
my assumption?
