The bug and a fix were also reported on egp-people some time back. I fixed it somewhat differently, in a way which doesn't depend on the loopback network of 127. I'm updating the copy on ucbarpa for anonymous ftp. The notes and an example configuration file have also been updated. The three modified files are in pub/4.3/egp-update.tar on ucbarpa.berkeley.edu.
