Is there anyone out there who has participated in the D.C.M. M-1 Garand purchase program? If so, how long have you been waiting or for those lucky ones who have received their Garands, how long did it take? My main concern in this posting is with Mini-14 sights. I don't know if there is a problem in general with standard factory rear sights on stainless Mini-14s but mine sure rattles. I spoke to a gunsmith at the High-Power match and he said that there is a replacement sight on the market by a company named Williams. Looking through my copy of Guns & Ammo, I found their add, with a picture of a modified Mini-14. Has anyone out there with a Mini-14 made this modification or some other fix-it to the sights.
