When I had a series 181 Mini-14, the sights did rattle
slightly, but it had no effect on accuracy.  From
the factory, 4 clicks up from mechanical zero
(as far down as the adjustment would go) put the
gun right on target for 100 meters.  The accuracy
was good enough for nailing tin cans.  I was
using standard M193 5.56 ball.  Shoot your gun
and see whether you really need new sights.
