From time to time, mod.recipes publishes seasonal "special issue" collections
of recipes that are appropriate to the time of year. Many of the recipes have
appeared before; some have not.

The messages following this one form the 1986 special issue collection of
soup recipes for the winter months. There's nothing quite like a fresh, hot,
home-made soup when it is cold and blustery outside.

Yes, I realize that in Australia the winter months have ended and summer is
here. But the majority of our readers are in the northern hemisphere....

If you have a recipe that you think should be in next year's special issue,
please send it in.
