     **** HELP! RISKS-4.7 NEVER MADE IT.  ****

DUE TO AN INCREDIBLE COMBINATION OF PROBLEMS, all of the contributions for
RISKS-4.7 were lost -- the original messages, and the edited issue, and
various backups; what is worse, an intermediate buffer load got substituted
for the real thing.  This all got triggered because of a mysterious BBOARD
TABLE OVERFLOW in the middle of my RISKS MACROS.  I had to log out to clear
up the resulting mess, and lost the last vestige of nonexpunged files and
EMACS kill rings -- not realizing that my master copy of RISKS-4.7 had been
corrupted.  Sorry.  There were some fine contributions, and I am mightily
annoyed that my careful controls failed me -- especially since I had to do
an unusually large amount of work on this issue.
