Hi there !


What a find ! Someone who knows something about the Elmira Branch
of the PRR.  
I grew up in Elmira and have always been curious about that line.
For instance, when did it go in; what was at Sodus Point, I
assume coal docks; what steam power was in use there during the
20`s -- 50`s; were the grades as bad as they seemed from PA Rt
14; was there much interchange at Hemrod Jct--I walked around
there in 1975 and found lots of paperwork blowing around.

In short, any details you`d care to share.
