I used BinHex 5.0 to UNPACK the files onto a mac, not to pack them (which would have used the 8-bit MacBinary system instead of the .HQX system that BH 4.0 and, I presume, xbin use.) I just shunted the BH 4.0 packed files from sumex onto the net: I used BH 5.0 to unpack them on my own mac.
