Has anyone installed 2.11 on 2.9BSD?  I'm trying to install it now, and
having some minor problems with readnews -- it tends to run out of memory if
the .newsrc file is already of a fairly large size, and saving articles
to files (and writing out .newsrc) is extremely slow (I suspect something
to do with stdio and buffering).   We're running 2.9BSD (Berkeley) on
a PDP11/70; I also have the Harvard/CSS distribution.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who is running 2.11 on 2.9BSD (either
Berkeley or Harvard/CSS) and whatever hints that they can give.
