Intentionality also refers to the feature of certain physical acts that we do them intentionally, i.e., we mean to do them rather than doing them by accident. Obviously, there are etymological connections here. Note, too, that it is often claimed that intentionality in the Brentano sense is strongly related to intensionality. William J.
