However, UniPress Emacs is available. Does anyone have some language- sensitive macros, a la the DEC lse, that they would be willing to share? I have not used Emacs, although I have looked at it and am interested, so this is also a chance to do some evangelizing. The DEC LSE inserts place-holders that may be expanded into the basic language constructs (e.g., for-loop, if-then-else, case, etc.). It also does the compile and keeps track of the line in which the error occured. I have looked at the GNU Emacs manual and there are some words there that sort of address this topic (we have GNU Emacs on a UN*X machine, the UP Emacs is on a VMS machine).
