Has anyone gotten version 18.35 to compile on a Sperry - I compiled
version 17.64 with the m-tahoe.h include file and all went well - now
when I try to compile version 18 I get this message:
    make -f xmakefile  xemacs
    ./temacs -batch -l inc-vers
    Loading inc-vers...
    New Emacs version will be 18.36.5
    ./temacs -batch -l loadup.el dump
    Loading loadup.el...
    Invalid read syntax: "."

    *** Error code 255

    Stop.

Any ideas why??  Thanks - Neil
