A need has arisen for us to read RT-11 floppies under BSD4.3 but we
have no access to documents describing the directory format.  I have
spent some time with dumps and formulated a partial interpretation of
the directory which works for the two floppies we have in hand.  I am
sure it is wrong because it ignores lots of fields, probably having to
do with whether space is really a file or just known blank space.

I would be eternally grateful to receive a reliable description of the
directory format.
