Now that we know (horse's mouth last Wednesday night) that the minix
C-compiler was not used to compile minix, and that using it to recompile
pieces will generate bigger/slower code with combined instruction and
data space, I am "suddenly interested" in getting "the right" C-compiler
for an ST.

Any way to find out which one the developers/porters are using?
