They will have the software, too, but, as mentioned here previously, it won't be ready until March. Dr. Tannenbaum also mentioned that some of the source code published in the book is a little out of date. Nothing major, but if you want to hack Minix, you'll need to read the REAL source. Finally, an anecdote from his talk: somebody mentioned GNU, and Dr. Tannenbaum said, "Mr. Stallman and I don't get along very well.
