According to doctor Tannebaum's book, MINIX supports only : (1) All code and data (including stack) in one 64 K segment (2) All code in one 64K segment and data and stack in another 64K segment with data starting at the bottom and growing up and the stack at the top and growing down (I think. I don't have the book handy as I write this) The C compiler distributed with MINIX supports only (1). A tool is provided to help with cross-compiling from MS-DOS to get too. -- Ken Thompson Phone : (404) 894-7089 Georgia Tech Research Institute Georgia Insitute of Technology, Atlanta Georgia, 30332 ...!{akgua,allegra,amd,hplabs,ihnp4,seismo,ut-ngp}!gatech!gitpyr!thomps
