Lines: 23 Summary: flaming the flamers There has been a lot of discussion concerning legality, return policies, etc, etc, etc. My impression of what Dr. Tanenbaum is trying to do does not include being all that concerned about legality. Why not let Dr. Tanenbaum and Prentice-Hall worry about it, if they want to? It's really none of your business and comes across VERY badly. If I were in Dr. Tanenbaum's position, I would just quite bothering with this newsgroup -- most of the stuff in here is drivel. The same can be said about GNU discussions. I wish people would stop griping and bitching because someone else isn't providing them with enough software, isn't putting a large enough guarantee on it, or whatever. If you don't like a product, no one is telling you that you have to use it. Go write your own version if you think everyone else's isn't any good.
