I was chatting with Richard Martz (coordinator of SoCalNet - 102/0) yesterday, and the subject became rather interesting. I understand that there are some folks already doing something along these lines. For instance, Bdale Garbee (128/19) is picking off some USENET newsgroups and making them availible to Fido's ECHOMAIL newsgroups. Bob Hartman of The UN*X GATEway, is doing something, although, I don't know what yet? I'm trying to find out the best availible route to take as far as software for the IBM/pc goes. Or, find out what everyone else is doing so as not to reinvent the wheel.. Any and all comments are welcomed!
