Did I see an article a few months ago wherein source for storing/
managing quantities of raster image files was posted?  I may
have a need to do some variations on that theme, and it would
be nice to avoid having to reinvent the wheel.  Was it pixar
who posted/asked for such a thing?

If anybody has anything that does _any_ kind of similar tasks,
drop me a note.  I'll pick the closest
site to pick it from  & save net traffic.
